This morning I woke up early. Sleep was elusive so I started my day at 4:30 instead of 5:30, using that extra hour to read, respond to emails and do some small tasks in the kitchen. By 6:30 I was in the car as planned, heading to Edgewood County Park in San Mateo where I met a friend for an early morning hike. We hiked for about an hour and a half. A short drive then took me to a city park where I could change into "Realtor duds" and comb my hair in a bathroom; now I was ready for my first business appointment of the day: showing my lease listing to a potential renter.
