Our Morgan Hill Housing Market Remains Active! Morgan Hill seems to be bursting at the seams with all the new homes being built, and there's more than new construction!  We have cottages, condos and more ranging up to ranches and exclusive estate homes.  At the end of September 2013, the dollar volume of homes actively for sale plus those in some stage of escrow was nearly $142 million.  On the evening of 11 October, there were 74 single family homes in addition to the 19 condos / townhomes actively for sale.  As fall progresses, so does the housing market - a little cooler, but plenty fine for venturing out. We had a GREAT time at the Taste of Morgan Hill 2013!   In addition to all the great food and beverage offerings, many vendors showcased items for purchase ranging from garden decorations to homes.   There was room for about 160 classic cars since the downtown area was closed to traffic.  I've heard some event goers say they come every year for that portion alone but decided to venture further this year.        I can see why with so many to many to stop and look over!                   The WERC (Wildlife Education & Rehabilitation Center) was on hand once again drawing crowds to educate people about our local, native wildlife and what an important role they play.  You can learn more about WERC by visiting our web site at http://werc-ca.org/ and be sure to sign-up for our upcoming fund-r...

It's Taste Of Morgan Hill Time - Are You Ready?   Beginning tomorrow morning many of the streets in downtown Morgan Hill will be open only to foot traffic. Curious how the market's going?  This information shows market trends for Morgan Hill through August 2013.     Morgan Hill added over 60 new listings in August 2013 to help arrive at the total metrics shown in this chart.   Of those homes making their way to the market, seven were under $400,000 and nine were over one million dollars; that leaves a lot in the middle.   There's always a housing market and you might be surprised by the results!  The Seller's market we've experienced is showing signs of decline as we go into the cooler months.       How does that measure up when we start talking dollars and cents? Morgan Hill, CA Homes for Sale Morgan Hill is just 10 miles south of San Jose, and is a city that has retained a lot of its small town atmosphere.  It has a population of 37,882 (2010) and the town is 12.88 square miles. Located in the southern part of Santa Clara County, most residents work in the job hub of the high tech industry known as Silicon Valley.   Morgan Hill enjoys a Mediterranean climate, due to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean (about 10 miles to the West).
