I think it starts with header/ sub header/ the body and how you do a "return" on the typing keys- don't use Tab to start a paragraph...
The font is triggered by keystroke and by the formatting set into AR's blog code
Try - typing on word, pasting to notepad (gets rid of all your returns, tabs, space errors that the code reads as - @@## ~~ "please change font"

Just formating issues, try using the Tx button.

I've had that problem off and on since I started posting blogs here.
I had this issue about a week ago, after two days it just worked again as before.
The editor goes haywire from time to time. Try stripping the text and resetting the fonts.
Corrupt text, seems to come and go.

I've occasionally had this problem for years. Though, I can take care of it in the text editor.
Yes, this is a regular issue. Much of the time, if you highlight your text, you can change the font size. You may experience problems when you are using text from another source.
I frequently draft posts in Word and do have the font issues on a regular basis. Even when I find a fix, it does not always work.
