Technology, because it keeps people connected and saves time, has become one of the most important items in the real estate professional’s tool belt. The National Association of Realtors®, in their 2011 technology study, asked agents to list the three pieces of technology they can’t live without:

Tablets (Galaxy Tab, iPad, etc.)
CRM tools (Market Leader, IXACTContact, MyRealEstateTools, etc.)
Mobile and desktop tools like Dropbox, ZipForms and Postlets

The NAR study also says that 38 percent of the survey respondents claim they’ll be purchasing a smartphone within the next year, while 29 percent of respondents plan on purchasing a new tablet. Over half the agents claim they spent between $500 and $2,000 on new technology in the past 12 months.
