Here’s where you’ll find a community willing to share their experiences with everything from computers to coaches and
from contact management software to virtual assistants. If there’s a real estate-related product or service, we’ll
have reviews for it.
Consider this patch of ActiveRain real estate your water cooler. Gather around it and talk to you colleagues – get and
offer advice. We hope this will be a forum for both teaching others about what you know and for learning from the rest
of the ActiveRain community.
What products or services work for you? Don’t be shy -- we’d love to hear all about them and spread the word to
help all ActiveRainers move on to the next level in their businesses.

The iPad is amazing and is a great productivity tool. I find the iPad is best for reading documents, viewing videos or presentations and playing games. The iPad is not very effective for writing or using a spreadsheet. i have even purchased a keyboard for my iPad trying to change my behaviour and get through email on the iPad, but it is not effective. Maybe old dogs can't learn new tricks, but I prefer my laptop in general. A MacBook or super thin Samsung laptop may be the better solution for me.

The iPad has proven itself to me as a must have real estate tool. With my IPad I can conduct listing my presentations, create listing and sales contracts and have them digitally signed and forwarded to the co-agent. With an internet connection the possibilities are endless. I am a big fan of I-Pad!

iPad is changing the way I do real estate, the latest and greatest change among many innovations over the course of my 40-year long real estate career. Portable Internet access is the most obvious convenience, but I also use my iPad for flexible listing and buyer presentations created with the Keynote and Numbers apps from Apple, electronic signatures on listing and contract documents (using the SignMyiPad app), anywhere/any time access to my client files (through Dropbox), and so much more.
Mine is an iPad2, which I understand has a longer battery life than the iPad3. I chose WiFi with 3G so I could still use my iPad, even on the rare occasions when there is no WiFi available. While 3G probably isn't essential, if money is an object, I've been glad to have it at times.
