Had to post success of this close.  Why was it successful, because a I had the privelage to help my clients in Portola Hills move forward with their lives.   This transaction was a short sale, and unless you have been hiding under a rock you know these transactions are not the easiest to close and the hardest part is the decision to short sale in the first place.  
Understanding your clients emotions and focusing on service will bring them success.  Success is not defined by profit by any means here, success is defined by giving your clients the ability to move forward...

short sale: Calling for a Recall on Mortgages-There's an Idea! - 02/20/10 05:58 AM
I was just reading an article in the Orange County Register about the shadow foreclosure inventory and it may not be a surprise but in Orange County there is an estimated 13 months of inventory not on the market. 
So as everybody wonders why the banks hold on to them, waiting for solutions a thought came to my mind.

A mortgage is a product - Correct?
If a bad product is sold to consumers, the manufacturer of the product is held accountable by various consumer protection agencies. Correct?

short sale: A Home Died Today - Are lenders stepping up or back? - 04/22/09 06:09 AM
Ok, I will start out with full disclosure.  I am frustrated to no ends with Ocwen,  I am working with for a client on a short sale.  Unfortunatly, the lender decided to go to Auction/Sale on this short sale with 1 good offer in hand and 3 strong ones behind it.  Makes no sense to me, much less my client!
I get sometimes that hard decisions need to be made. But what I don't get is when stupid (yes, I said stupid) decisions are made due to a lack of interest or that it can't be fit into a process. Maybe that is … (8 comments)
