I was online this morning, catching up on the latest news natrionally and globally when I ran across a CNN report that caught my eye. It is not often that Wyoming shows up in national news, so I had to read the article. CNN has reported that Casper is one of the Fasting Growing Boomtowns in the United States!  Current Demograhpic information shows a population of 78,621 in Casper. This is up 3% in just one year.    Casper has become an "aspirational" city. An aspirational city, by definition, is one that people and industries migrate to improve their economic prospects and achieve a better relative quality of life.   The reasons for this growth: Oil Gas Coal Uranium  Typically when you have growing industries you will also see other domino effects on the economy" Job growth  Housing boo... 05/30/2013

Note to self: The "State Bird" of Wyoming is the RATTLESNAKE. (juxtaposition ROCKS). "If you come into contact with one while hiking the trails...DO NOT spook it!"...(great advice from the lady in the State of Wyoming Department of Land Management Booth at the fair.) :)Walking through the hills and canyons here has been my favorite thing to do in Casper, WY. This is truly a sportsman's paradise...hunting, fishing, hiking, biking...all right out your front door.The folks here in Casper have been wonderful ambassadors of their state. Friendly, "Salt of the Earth" people who just want to do their own thing without any outside interference...my kind of folks.Casper is the second largest city in Wyoming...at 50,000 in population.
