When one drives through the City of Waukesha these days it looks a little different than it did a few years ago. One such noticeable change is the wonderful growth of  Waukesha Memorial Hospital . I owe my life  to these dedicated people. I would come to remember Waukesha Memorial Hospital  when I was involved in a car accident when I was younger and got injured, as well as all the subsequent injuries and journeys I have taken and have come to know some doctors, nurses, and staff a little better. Waukesha Memorial Hospital- ProHealth Care is in a class that many would only dream of.  The Waukeha County Real estate market sure has grown over the years. As a kid I remember riding past Crites field and looking at the airport; at that time it had to exist of a number of Cessnas and a few Piper Cubs. If my memory doesn't fail me it had a big wind sock on top of a brick oval terminal that was the hanger. A few adjacent hangers would accompany their main hanger and looking across the field one could always see the The Waukesha County Fair grounds. As I drove past the Waukesha County Airport/ Crites Field the other day I was amazed at the amazing growth that has taken place in the last number of years.     I have a robin outside one of my home's windows.  It has been there for a couple of days.  It keeps flying into the window every 15 seconds or so.  Not sooooo hard, but still, it must hurt doing it so often.  My cats are having a blast watching it, but i don't want anything to happen to the bird.   I googled the situation, or course, and found out it is probably a male robin, that is seeing his reflection in window, thinking it is another male robin.  They are very territorial, and this is mating season, so that sounded logical.    I put paper all in the inside of the window to take away the reflection, and the robin continued smacking into the window.  I tried putting a big piece of cardboard on the outside of the window too,and now he is perching on top of that, and then smacking... 05/11/2009

 One could talk for long times about the greatness of "Foxhead" beer, "Whiterock" and "Roxo" soda, and an endless list of what made up the amazing history of the City Of Waukesha.The City of Waukesha, Wisconsin is rich in history. The City of Waukesha is unique in that it has lots of natural springs that people would come from miles away just to experience. There used to be a Catholic Seminary off of Buena Vista and Riverview in Waukesha that also housed the Moor downs mud baths. Many parks in Waukesha had Spring houses in them such as Bethesda Springs, Hartwell, Arcadian, Roxo, Whiterock, and more. There are physical spring houses left.  Early on in my life I was always amazed at this dairy that sat on the corner of Delafield street and Northview Road in Waukesha by the Waukesha County Fair grounds and close to the Waukesha County Airport. There is a beautiful huge Guernsey cow in the front that has weather the years beautifully. It was not that long ago when my son and I would tend to our Jerseys and early in the morning you would hear the milk trucks backing up to the milk houses around the farms by our farm. Perhaps it is simple but it sure is a beautiful sight to this day every time I drive by a field and seeing the ladies laying down and greeting the day. My son Spencer would love to hang out with the calves and they would walk up to him and welcome him.  I had a wonderful meeting with my accountant Mitzi Cass, CPA this morning; this wonderful woman not only has a great smile to greet you every time, but patience that can be such a virtue with someone like me. After drinking a pot of coffee I make it over to her office and look forward to rolling up our sleeves and counting three huge bags of receipts.  In the Waukesha County Real estate market and just about a month or two there is a tradition and experience that puts it all into perspective for family, friends, and more; it will be  time for the Waukesha County Fair. This wonderful fair will be celebrating it's 167th season this year. When I was a small kid I remember walking down to the Fox River  and walking through Frame Park. The history from Frame Park, and surrounding Waukesha is amazing. Frame Park with it's floral gardens, walk ways along the river, and it's peacefulness really is no different today for me than it was a few years ago when I was a kid. The Waukesha County Real Estate, Waukesha Real Estate, and the whole Waukesha County Real Estate market is blooming. As I gather my paperwork from my Waukesha County real estate, and Waukesha Real Estate activity my mind thinks of how nice it is outside, and I start to think of the past and the not so distant past. This year Mother's Day  takes on an extended meaning and runs a litter deeper than most years. It took me a long time to realize what it takes for someone to be a Mother, and not just a parent. I have always liked the smiles on faces as they reach out to show their love and affection for Mothers on Mother's Day ; I like to see it everyday.  Last Friday after a wonderful day in the Waukesha County real estate market and Waukesha County Lake homes I asked my son Spencer what he wanted to do since it was 3:30 on a Friday and we were looking for an adventure. We decided to take an extended trip and go get a pizza in Fargo North Dakota since the Amtrak trains were so inexpensive. The next day we had the luxury of getting a pizza, visiting the wonderfully restored Fargo theater, and watching "Dr. Strangelove." My son thought the movie was different, liked the theater, and certainly loved the pizza. Sometimes taking an extended trip and being able to talk with your 14 year old while looking at beautiful countryside can do wonders for both. Wishing you a productive day, and see you at closing!
