The Teresa K.   Visiting Sister Bay this weekend for the Centennial Celebration?  Take in a relaxing sunset from a bench at the Sister Bay Marina. The Sister Bay Marina consists of one hundred seasonal rental slips, forty transient slips, and ten commercial slips, and is equipped with showers and restroom facilities as well a large, easily accessible boat launch ramp. There also is a pleasant, recently remodeled Dock Master’s office/lounge area for check-in/check-out, where you can purchase Marina logo wear.   At the time of this writing, all the seasonal rental slips are occupied, but it is possible to add your name to a waiting list. DOOR COUNTY BOATING:  The Sister Bay Marina has six open slips that are available for rent. There are six – forty foot slips and one twenty-five foot slip. Christy Sully has been working through the waiting list and as those individuals were contacted she has been waiting for responses. The date for the opening of the Marina is getting closer and the Marina Committee has made the decision to notify all the individuals on the property and non-property owner list (who have email addresses) again to see if they want a slip. This weekend in Door County--the World-Famous Sister Bay Bowl.  While I'm Irish and I'm sure to be enjoying some of the weekend's local festivities, it's a good time to mention the Sister Bay Bowl--because by the time May comes, there won't be a ten minute wait on the weekends.  There will be a two hour wait.  Also, I owe a friend dinner, and I am sure this will be the restaurant of choice this weekend because the food is fantastic.  Friday, locally caught perch delivered by Maricque's.  Saturday, excellent prime rib.
