Bill's Berry Farm is becoming a fall favorite for many. It's an easy day trip in nearby Gradview. This u-pick farm owned by the Michener family has seen a lot of growth for good reason. The focus on the harvest season and not halloween. This is examplified by their corn maze which isn't haunted. It is has a clue game style theme where you solve which farm animal kidnapped farmer Bill! The corn Maze is only $5 per person and can be a great family experience competing to see who solves the mystery first. They have the ever popular "squeeze Your Own Cider. Outdoorsman Expo at the Trac Sept 7-9 2012   Holy cow! I almost missed a Dock Dog event. The outdoorsman Expo starts today. Of course they have more great things there, but I love Dock Dogs.  Click the banner to go to their site.    There will be a demonstration tank where you can see Sub-Surface Fly Fishing Techniques,  Crank Baits for Bass,  Spinner Baits for Bass,  Walleye Fishing Techniques, Tube Baits for Bass, Top Water Bass Techniques and SCUBA Demonstration,  I know what the SCUBA Demonstration will be like. The rest means nothing to me, but if you are a fisherman I am sure it will be awesome.  I like the Dock Dogs and they'll be there too. GO to the site above or if you just want the schedule click here.

Let’s go on a treasure hunt through Tri Cities Washington, instead of using a map with a ‘X’ on it, how about we use a GPS (global positioning system) to direct us to the treasure. This is precisely what geocaching is all about! For those who have never heard of Geocaching before let me give you an overview of the game. The idea of geocaching is to find hidden containers using a GPS devise. Inside each container, or cache, there will be a logbook, writing utensil, and most of the time some sort of trinket collection. Geocaching in the Tri Cities is the same as geocaching anywhere, right? Wrong. Geocaching in the Tri Cities is a great thing, every area is unique in terms of Geocaching. The City of Richland has several events centered around Geocaching, one of the events going on right no...

Recently the Tri Cities Washington has been ranking on several “Top 10” lists, the most recent one is a pretty good list to be on. The projections of a data analysis put out by ProximityOne says that the Tri Cities Washington area is one of the Top 10 Real Estate Boomtowns. By 2020 the Tri Cities is expected to see the second largest increase in population size, a growth of 35.3%. This boomtown status in the Tri Cities is due in part to the fact that the Tri Cities is home to a diverse economy, a draw to many people. The Tri Cities brings in many people because of the industries like agriculture, solar energy, technology companies, and of course Pacific Northwest National Laboratories and the Hanford Project, both federally funded. Along with being one of the top boomtowns, the Tri Citi...

Free government money is not something to be looked upon lightly! No down payment USDA loans not only save you the upfront costs of house ownership, but you also gain the tax benefits of a mortgage and begin to build wealth through equity. The government, through the USDA, has dedicated itself to building up rural areas, and offering substantial benefits to the people who help them accomplish this. Normally the mortgage vs rent argument is a closer one, but with benefits like these, the decision becomes much more cut and dry.A USDA loan also comes without the need for purchasing expensive mortgage insurance, which allows more money to be directed toward the house payment every month. They also come with no maximum limit. So if your credit is good, you may get a bigger house than you coul...
