Vancouver's Condo Market in February 2015 is Doing Very Well! The Real estate Market for Vancouver WA Condos (in some parts of the country called Apartments to Own) are still in the relatively slow season. Results for February 2015 show we will likely continue the positive trend set last year.  Here are this month's highlights: Condo Average Sales Prices are substantially higher than last year, with the 3-Month Moving Average closing up 14.3% over the prior February; and the 12-Month Moving Average closed up 24.8%     36 Resale Condos were sold in February, which is about 10 (38.5%) more condos than in February 2014.  Pending Condo Sales increased substantially as well!   REO/Bank Owned Condo sales were 4 units (11.1% of total); down from 5 (19.2% of total) in February 2014.   Short Sa... 03/22/2015

At the sound of the Siren, and with Flashing Red lights, the I-5 traffic comes to a halt... and imperceptibly at first, the twin lift-spans begin to rise... until the spans are high enough to allow the tug and barge to pass peacefully by, before lowering again! February 2015 Posts Another Unseasonably Early Gain for Real Estate in Vancouver! At the time we prepared our report for last month we could see that the quantity of Pending home sales would likely make February 2015 very strong - and indeed it was!  Here are this month's highlights: Average Home Sale-Prices are still up strongly, with the 3-Month Moving Average up 11.39% over the prior year; and the 12-Month Moving Average up 9.79% from the year prior.   The Price Trend Lines show the 3-Month Moving Average failing to meet the 12-Month Moving Average line so far; with the 12-Month trend continuing in the positive direction.  Approximately 253 Resale Homes were sold in February 2015, which is about 20 (8.6%) more homes than had sold in February 2014.  REO/Bank Owned property sales were... 03/17/2015
