Day 20 of 30 Things to Do in Pullman has got to be a visit to the nearby Dahmen Barn. I took this picture last winter with just a dusting of snow. The wagon wheel fence is truly unique. For those of you who love barns, this is absolutely must see. The barn began renovation in 2004 and was opened in 2006. Located just minutes south of Pullman, in neaby Uniontown, there is this great barn that was restored and now offers spaces for local artisians to work and display their wares. Not only does it provide a great gift shop,  but also lots of classes and workshops to bring out the artist in you.  There are also 4 major events, with the Holiday Gala will be in full swing and a great place to purchase gifts unique to the Palouse.   So whether you are looking for something to do now, or in the... 11/20/2012

The days are starting to warm up on the Palouse!  It's a balmy 57 degrees and it's supposed to be even warmer this weekend.  The perfect weather to be outside!  The perfect weather to help out with our local Habitat for Humanity project. The Whitman County Association of REALTORS has joined the Habitat for Humanity organization in working to build a home in our neighboring community of Uniontown.  Our local REALTORS are giving of their time to be a part of this fantastic orgnanization but we need as many helping hands as possible. On my way from Pullman Washington to Lewiston Idaho there is a beautiful whimsical wagon wheel fence outside the Dahmen Barn outside Uniontown Washington. The recent snowfall provided a beautiful back drop.     12/26/2010
