I'm always on the lookout for new tools to help Moses Lake buyers and sellers make informed decisions about moving.  Home Sale Maximizer is a tool that enables you to determine which home improvements will help to increase their homes' resale value. It's a pretty cool calculator that asks you a few questions about your home and then makes recommendations on what to improve, estimated costs, and then the best part, how much more you can sell your home for. Check it out.

Homes sales have slowed in Moses Lake and sellers are dropping prices and offering incentives. If your looking to buy a home this year you can qualify for a tax credit of upto 7,500.00. That is huge!  Looking for a home has never been better for the buyer. This will all soon change. The outlook for the real estate market is positive. Sellers many not have to much longer to wait. We have many new companies comming to the area ,bring jobs and people. If you want a good deal on a home, I would start shopping now.

In a past post I mentioned some of the Moses Lake Attractions. One f those was the Aquatic Center. All my kids are grown and I haven't had a reason to go and experience it. I had friends in town with kids that love to swim. So away we went. I was very impressed with the the number of the pools and options for all family member. One of the things that my friends liked was the Surfing experience. It is hard to explain but you can surf with out going to the ocean. There were all kind of pools and slides. My favorite was the Lazy River. I floated down the river and let all my cares go away...............Don't miss it.

Moses Lake, WA Moses Lake located in Eastern WA's Columbia Basin is one of the states largest natural freshwater lakes. Eastern WA notably boasts more sunny days annually, and warmer, dryer summers than Western WA, to help attract various: baseball, softball, soccer and other league sports tournaments. Visitors and vacationing residents enjoy plenty of fishing, golfing, bird-watching, and other recreational opportunities in the Moses Lake area. Among the seasonal attractions is an outdoor Aquatic Park with both Olympic and wading size pools, water slides, concession stand, sand volleyball courts, playground and more! Brandon (my nephew) took a spin on the “surf 'n slide” between his baseball tournament games being hosted in Moses Lake last week-end. - temps were in the 80's :) (picture...

(Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Ranch and Home)
I have checked Moses Lake's market this morning, 3/21/08.  There are still a number of homes on the market, in fact there were 259 active stick built homes on the market!  That  is great news for the home buyer.  What choices!  It makes it a little more difficult for the home seller.  There were 13 homes 'subject to inspection'. and 51 pending sales as of today; while there were 7 homes in the 'contingent' category.  The sold category shows that 146 homes have sold as of 9/23/07.  Most homeowners know that most homes are sold not by owner, but by the Real Estate Profession.  If you would like to get an idea of what I can do for you as to marketing, please go to my site at www.KathleenMiles.com and click on the word 'sell'.  It will take you to some of the homes I have sold.  Next, click...

Many people in other states are surprised to learn that there is a desert in the state of Washington.  After all, our state is called "the evergreen" state!   Nevertheless, Moses Lake is situated on a desert.  We enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average of only 7 inches of rain.  It is called a high desert and therefore we also get to enjoy the four seasons!  Because Spring is here, we are starting to 'heat up' in more ways than one.  Buyers are beginning to understand that this is a good time to purchase the house of their dreams.  People are calling on our listings and on weekends, our streets are filled with families checking out the open houses!  I think the news is out, that this is a wonderful place to live!  Moses Lake is a fabulous place to visit in Summer and a gre...
