Lynnwood power out for a couple hours - some remain in the dark.. Power went out to many Brier and Lynnwood homes yesterday around 3:40 when according to the Snohomish PUD, a semi hit an electrical pole.  After two hours of being in the dark in Brier, I called and was told that they would have the power back on within the hour for all those except the twenty or so homes that are directly surrounding the pole.  These lucky winners get to have their power out for about 48 hours because it takes a while to replace a pole apparently.  The pole in question was neer Larch and 215th and driving around was not easy with all the lights down as well. The PUD worked hard to get most of us back in the light, but based on my two hour experience yesterday, my heart goes out to the houses who remain i...

Logan Park was one of the projects transformed by Susan Black & Associates!  This is one of Lynnwood's finer parks and a great place to go if you get a chance.   It is five acres and has a playground and a baseball field as well as a trail around the entire thing and parking. Here is the address: 1411 Logan RdLynnwood, WA 98036 Read more about SBA and what they do: Seattle landscaping can be commercial or residential and SBA does it all.  Susan Black & Associates have been doing some of the very best landscaping projects in Seattle and are among the most respected firms in the city when it comes to Seattle landscape architecture.  They do some amazing projects and should be considered first when it comes to any project! North Seattle Suburbs include Lake Forest Park, Shoreline (including Richmond Beach), Kenmore, Brier, Mukilteo , Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Woodway (including new construction Woodway Highlands and the older Olmsted Woodway) and South Everett (including Silver Lake). Lake Forest Park and Shoreline are the closest to Seattle and both boast natural scenes like trees and water views. From Richmond Beach in Shoreline, sweeping Sound Views and salty air are abundant. Lake Forest Park offers a ton of trees and Lake Washington views. The Seattle suburb of Kenmore is just north of Lake Forest Park and has its own seaplane airport! Just north of Richmond Beach is the tiny town of Woodway - It has amazing houses, but has opted out of the public library system so if library ...
