Lake Forest Park WA - living - the video store is gone and a much needed fully stocked hardware store is nicely showcased on the center of the NorthEast upper Lake Forest Park Mall.  They have some great stuff in here and all the displays are quite attractive - great use of space here - go check it out! On Sunday, November 29th the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council presents Magical Strings Celtic Yuletide Concert. Tuesday evening, as part of the "Lighten the Load and Light Up the Future" project in Lake Forest Park, Piper Lauri Salogga of Natural Balance (Seattle), spoke to a group on "Peace and Vitality, Living Intentionally in Your Home." I have been to Great Harvest Bread Companies before, but had no idea they were individually owned and the Great Harvest in Lake Forest Park, Washington is at the top of my list!  This locally owned small business has been creating wonderful wholesome food and giving back to the community they serve! Sunday couldn't have been a more gorgeous day, so headed on over  to the LFP Farmer's Market after my workout at the LFP Gold's Gym this morning.  The sun was shining, the LFP Commons parking lot was packed full of people, and good, fresh, locally grown food was in abundance. Lake Forest Park is a community on the Northeast end of Seattle.  While it is a separate city from Seattle, it's close enough to downtown to feel like just another neighborhood.  Just 3 square miles in area, much of Lake Forest Park is covered in towering fir trees.  It's bordered on the North by Kenmore, on the West by Shoreline, and on the South by Seattle. Doggy Bags in a different light...  I love that Lake Forest Park city parks have those green dispensers with doggy waste bags, but did you know that they are biodegradable?  It is true! Dog Waste us a big problem actually as far as ground water pollution goes - it is shocking so I am glad LFP is doing their part.  Remember to put the dog waste in the garbage NOT your green bin, PLEASE!
