Jubilee in Lacey offers a lot to folks looking for a low maintenance lifestyle with loads of activities close at hand.  And those benefits have kept homes in Jubilee selling at a brisk pace this year. Currently our NWMLS shows that over the last six months, there have been 23 home sales, including both resale homes built in the mid 2000's and also new construction homes being built this year.  Of the sales over that six month period, 5 homes were new construction, and the others were all resale homes.  This is a pretty dramatic change from a year or two ago when many resale homes took a year or more to sell! The lowest sales price showing is $210,000 for a 1439 square foot home built in 2004.  The highest sales price was $449,900 for a 2357 square foot home built in 2005.  The median ...

Search for for All Short sales in Lacey Washington   A Lacey Washington Short Sale is when a seller owes more than their home will sell for in today’s real estate market and they ask their lienholder(s) to accept less than what they owe. Just like some Local Lacey Washington Buyers make their contract contingent on loan approval a Lacey Washington short sale seller will have their own contingency of short sale approval. As mentioned above the lienholder(s) have to agree to accept less. Some lienholder(s) will agree to accept less with or without conditions or additional terms and then there are lienholder(s) who will not approve the short sale at all. Unfortunately the word “Short” in Lacey Washington Short Sale does not refer to the length of time it takes for a short sale to be appro...

'Tis the season to enjoy the festive holiday events in the area, and one of my favorites is the lighting of the Christmas trees in Lacey.  The 2012 event will be on Thursday, December 6th at 6:00 PM, and is at Huntamer Park in Woodland Square (behind Fred Meyers' in Lacey).  Come sing along with familiar carols and sip some coffee or hot chocolate until it is time for the trees to light up with their beautiful holiday finery.  And....I understand that Santa will show up in his Santa Mobile, too, so don't miss the fun!
