Growing up in Alaska, I was spoiled with plenty of fresh salmon, halibut, and crab. Bernie also grew up close to fresh seafood, so we are both very particular about what we buy.  Local supermarkets are sometimes OK, but uneven in the quality and availability. So it was a delight to learn last year that B&B Fish Market was coming to Camas. Boo Bash 2014  -Thank You Downtown Camas WA Merchants!   This was the first year I attended this Halloween downtown event with my grandchildren. I should have attended more often! The Camas, WA "Boo Bash" is a delightful event. It is sponsored by the all the downtown merchants. The store owners dress in costumes and  sit outside their businesses and hand out candy and treats to the throngs of children and parents streaming by their door. It's really quite fun!       All of the children were accompanied by their parents. Many of the parents dressed up to match their children's costumes. March: Go Green in Charming Downtown Camas Camas is going green,  and this eco-friendly Irish lass couldn’t be happier.      Home Prices in Camas, WA   Camas,WA is a growing, vibrant city. It's not so little anymore. It has grown and changed over the forty years I have lived here. For instance, it's been fun to see all the restaurants expand and grow in downtown Camas!  We have a special place in our hearts for the Camas WA Dairy Queen! Plein Air in the Heart of Downtown Camas - First Friday in September 2013 Plein Air is the French tradition of painting out in the open air for all to see. This Friday, from 9am to 4pm, artists will line the streets of 4th Avenue in charming Downtown Camas to paint the landscape. Stroll through town and drink in the lovely works of art in progress. Then from 5-8pm, the artists works will be on display at the Camas Chamber of Commerce for September’s First  Friday event.
