I took this photo when I was at Monticello in the beautiful gardens there.  I loved the colors, especially the blueish purple-ish colors.  Monticello is Thomas Jefferson's home near Williamsburg, Virginia.  The home and the gardens are just beautiful, and full of opportunities to test your camera, be it a fancy one or an I-Phone.  I took this with a sort of fancy one.

I had some potentially good news today about the house in Wellington near Williamsburg Va. that is a super deal.             An agent from another office called me today and asked if it was still available; she has buyer clients who need to move fast.  This house is a short sale, but with the help of Platinum Group Services LLC and possibly letting the buyers move in early and rent the house from the home owner, this may be the answer the home owner has been waiting to hear for over a year now!!  He is in the army and needs to sell quickly.  Please say a prayer that this deal will come together.   For more information about this house check out this blog Super deal on house in Wellington

Grazing With the Bulls Have you heard of Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain? This event is supposed to be a lifetime opportunity. I'm still trying to figure out what opportunity do the sponsors of the event have in mind. A rare opportunity to be jabbed with one of these deadly looking horns? I prefer the peaceful nature of the Colonial Willamsburg's bulls. Can you see them jabbing anyone? Or even running? I saw these two mellow friends on the grounds of the Colonial Willamsburg, and liked their peaceful approach to life. I'll take grazing with these two bulls over running with the Pamplona kind anytime.

Do you work with renters? I had a couple walk into my office this week and ask me that question. Later in the week, another person call me and asked, "Do you work with renters?"    It seems that many families moving to the Williamsburg area are searching for rentals.  Many of these families are military and quite often they have a house that they cannot sell.  I have to explain to them that I will be happy to search for properties for them on the internet and to contact the property manager or listing agent to set up a showing.  I also explain that with gas approaching $4.00 a gallon, it is totally impractical to spend the time and money needed to show prospective tenants several rental properties until they find the right house.  When I explain this to the propsective tenants and then...
