   While in Vienna, VA, I returned to Church Street, to check things out.   The first store that caught my attention with a display of bikes outside was Bikes@Vienna. A friendly salesperson spotted me, as a possible prospect and approached me. He went on to describe the bikes I was looking at, and insisted that I sit on a Recumbent Bike. I obliged and sat down. He explained how one has more power riding this type of bike than a traditional one, and countered everyone of my objections. He then coaxed me to get over and sit on another bike.  I did not see the point, since I made it clear that I am not interested in buying these particular bikes. Breakfast with "$ Green Zone Selling"                   This morning I attended a breakfast sponsored by McLean Mortgage Company and New World Title & Escrow at the Westwood Country Club in Vienna, VA.   The breakfast was sumptuous, tasty, served in an the elegant setting of the Westwood County Club.   The  presentation by Doug Smith the author of "Green Zone Selling" was titled "Jump" alluding to our need to jump out of our comfort zone and unleash the power of personal motivation in order to accomplish goals.  If we do not do that, than we will be stuck in our comfort zone, wasting time and talents.     I agree with that theory 100%.  It does not mean that I have pushed my self to the limits, but I have fought my desire to remain in the comfortable zone from  childhood not knowing tha... 05/16/2013

Many of my readers know I love attending Wolf Trap. The concerts are in a wonderful setting and the entertainment is always top notch. This year will be no exception. Viva Vienna Memorial Day Festival 2013 Viva Vienna is a community celebration in Vienna, Va that takes place over Memorial Day Weekend. The festival is held along historic Church Street and runs from Lawyers Road to Mill Street. The old Vienna train station and Caboose serve as the anchor for the event. Food, crafts, carnival rides, and music all raise over $100k each year for local and international charities. This year there will be over 300 vendors and 50,000 guests are expected. There are grocery stores, plenty of restaurants and unique shops. Many of my readers know that I love Hawaiian Music. My family and I lived in Hawaii for 12 years and attended many concerts.                                                                                                                                                                                                   When I found myself at a cancelled Breakfast of Champions at Westwood Country Club, I was determined to enjoy the day in Vienna, Virginia. I looked for the historic section of Vienna and Robert Rudd of McLean Mortgage Corporation recommended to head to Church Street.  The first pleasant surprise was FREE parking spaces!  You can park on Church Street for two hours and shop! Since I had no breakfast, I looked for and found the Harvest Bread Company store.  The bread was warm and delicious and so was the sweet bread with butter.  I noticed the Mediterranean Yas Bakery & Supermarket in a free standi... 03/09/2013
