Last year, Sterling Park was the center of an illegal immigration debate and crackdown. This year, Sterling Park is the center of a Loudoun County "clean up" campaign. According to the Washington Post, Loudoun County leaders are focusing on cleaning-up Sterling Park by cracking down on things such as unkempt lawns, crowded homes and truck-jammed curbs they say have eroded the quality of life in Sterling Park. What a great day for a settlement!  My buyers made a terrific deal on this 3 level, one car garage townhouse in Sterling, VA.   The unit has a fully fenced backyard, deck, finished basement, three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.  Don't forget the walkout basement and hardwood floors on the main level.  With about $900 out of their own pockets, they bought their first home for only $285,000 on a VA loan.  No money down!   The seller paid for their closing costs! Loudoun County assessments came out earlier this month and assessed values went down in most areas of the county.  But did they go down enough for your area of the county?  This is the breakdown for the change in prices for the Sterling area of Loudoun County.  This analysis is for the 20164, 20165 and 20166 zip codes.  It will show you the difference in values for homes sold at the end of 2006 versus the end of 2007.
