A Realtor's job is not always about helping buyers and sellers with their homes.  It also entails giving back to the community and to friends in need.  This past Friday, I was able to volunteer at the "Coaches' Grill" during theLoudoun Valley-Stone Bridge High School football game.                                                                    Softball Coach and teacher Mr. Spicer along with the help of Patti Hansen, parent volunteer, make Chef Emeril's grilling techniques look dismal. The daughter in the family that is staying with me while their home is being finished asked me about the fishing tackle standing in the corner of my garage.  Hanna asked, "Is that all your fishing stuff?" "Sure, I love to fish", say I. FRANKLIN PARK, A WONDERFUL PUBLIC PARK IN PURCELLVILLE VIRGINIA OFFERS MUCH FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS.  I have house guests for several more weeks waiting for their home to be completed (see below).  Since the family has an 11 year old daughter and a 2 year old son, finding interesting activities is always a challenge.  HEY, LET'S GO FISHING!  First, let Lenn determine that there are fish in the pond.  Nothing is more disappointing to a child than to go fishing and not catch anything.  So, to verify the presence of fish in Franklin Park Lake, I took my favorite fishing rod to the lake yesterday afternoon and . . . . LOUDOUN COUNTY HAS MANY VERY RURAL AREAS.  WESTERN LOUDOUN COUNTY, where I have a home, is particularly rural for Northern Virginia.  The key to convenience for maintaining real estate services here is that you need good local merchants and service companies.  Otherwise we have to travel many miles for necessities. Of course, living in the country makes it all worthwhile.  Most of our neighbors are quadrupeds. I try to provide my home buyers with information about local services.  One of the local merchants that provides an essential service is Mail It All with FedEx and UPS Services.  The next nearest mail or packaging services is Leesburg which is 15 miles away.
