We are so lucky to have a super neat shop close to Lake Anna.  The Fabric Hut and Gift Gallery is full of gift items and this is the perfect time of the year to make a visit.  While there I saw a number of items perfect for others and I know you'll be tempted, as I was, by items that you would like to have too.  There are personal as well as many household items to choose from. Simply walking inside puts you in the holiday spirit. If you live at Lake Anna and are looking for something to do this Saturday evening you might like to consider the Louisa Arts Center for a evening of some diverse, fun music.  In fact I suggest you bring some friends along.  This is bound to be one of those performances where the more the merrier. There was a time where we had to drive a distance to have this type of entertainment.  It meant off to Fredericksburg, Charolettesville, Richmond, or perhaps someplace else to have a night out on the town.  Now all we need to do is drive to Louisa. Candidates for the 17th district seat in the Virginia Senate will participate in a debate at the University of Mary Washington. The session will be held Thursday, November 3 in Monroe Hall, Room 116 at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public without charge.
