Walnut Hill in Falls Church Virginia is a great place to raise family. And if you lived in Annandale as long as i have, you would know this area was formally known as Walnut Hill Mansion. Place definitely has history and rumor has it that part of “Gone With the Wind” was shot in Walnut Hill Mansion. Can not verity that. I went to Woodburn Elementary, Luther Jackson Middle and Falls Church High School. Both of my kids also alumni of those three school. Even my wife went to Falls Church High School. Now Walnut Hill Community school district are not the best rated schools in Fairfax county, but the Walnut Hill Community itself is well worth living in the community. This morning, I was looking through my email when one message popped up that caught my eye. It was for the cheapest house in all of Falls Church, Virginia, for sale at for under $200,000 - a price unheard of in this part of the Washington suburbs. So I read on. The owner, an investor doing a FSBO, included an interesting description: "Tenant Ready". And he even had a video ifor readers like me were unfamiliar with this term. And the place was, to put it politely, the quintessential dump. It was a really bad 50's house that must have lead a hard life. In a market where equity is tight looking for ways to get a home ready for market without spending a fortune in money and time is important.  This pat weekend Cindy Jones and CJ Realty Group met with a couple about the preparing their home to sell later this spring, we talked about some of the updates they wanted to do and how to do them without breaking the bank. One of the pesky items that we see, especially in bathrooms is the large expansive of mirror.  You know what I'm talking about, that great big wall of mirror held up by mirror clips and sitting in that little silver channel.  Every stock new construction home we tour has them.  They are huge, they have no charm and they are a royal pain to figure out what to do with.
