Over the weekend I took a drive to Potomac Shores. One of my buyer clients contracted for a home back in August for a new home to be built. It was suppose to be started this week. So, Saturday to Potomac Shores to see if the basement was poured yet. It's been a month since I've been down to see the site. Lots of changes in such a short period of time.As you can see the entrance walls are in and the Potomac Shores letters have been installed. The Grand Opening of Potomac Shores was a HUGE success. Hundreds of people walked the six model homes presented by Ryan Homes and NV Homes. There were two food trucks, one ice cream truck, live DJ, welcome center, six model homes to tour, 3D site plan (showcasing upcoming town center, VRE Station - Potomac Shores, clubhouse 13,000 sq ft, walking trails, elementary school, middle school, swimming pool and more) with fun and entertainment. "Can you help us, Karen?" is one of my favorite questions.  It is especially so when it is a member of our Armed Forces - in this case a young Marine Captain and his wife.   Simiilar to most military tours he will be at Quantico for three years.  At this point in his career he has no idea if he will ever returm to the area.
