The nearest airport to Provo is the new Provo airport, but at the time of this writing, it’s not an international airport, and it’s tiny! The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) was the nearest international airport to Provo, Utah before Provo Airport announced they will be catering to international flights. I was surprised at how busy the SLCIA has become. It has grown in just the last 7 years. I feel like it has doubled in size. I have been flying to Salt Lake City each year for the past 7 years until I moved to Provo. I am used to seeing all the return missionaries being greeted as they return home from their missions. Do not buy a loft at the Pierpont Lofts in Salt Lake City until you have read this. You really need to consider a few things before you jump in and purchase one. Overview:The Pierpont Lofts in Salt Lake City can be found at 346 W 240 S (in between 200 and 300 S). They back up to my personal favorite loft community, the Broadway Park Lofts. The Pierpont Lofts have some great features and generally have a good vibe. They were converted from two warehouses into lofts back in 2001. From the covered courtyard to the exposed brick added to the fact that these lofts actually used to be a warehouse make the Pierpont Lofts worth taking a look at. This building is known as Council Hall, it is now a State Visitor's Center and Travel Counsel.  It was originally Salt Lake's City Hall which was then located at 120 East and 100 South in Salt Lake City.  It was relocated in a joint effort and reconstructed on 300 North, across from the Utah State Capitol. Where do garden gnomes go? Ever wondered where garden gnomes, carefully selected and often loved, vanish to. Live long enough and you will always get answers to life's intriguing questions?
