It may be a bit crude, but it works! We got about 3 inches of snow this morning and I have been waiting for it all summer so I can put my new "redneck" satellite dish snow melter to the test. I wired up an outdoor floodlight base and a 150 watt PAR floodlight to my satellite dishes and wired them up to a remote switch so they can be triggered from inside. It took on average about 15 minutes to heat the dishes up to around 150 degrees. I went outside to look at them at sunrise and they were all "steaming" hot. I'm ready - bring it on Old Man Winter!

We need Positive Price Action to confirm market bottom.  One month of price improve isn't sufficient to confirm the market bottom.  We need to see appreciation month over month for three months. PRICE ACTION      Other good signs in addition to positive price action is lower DOM (days of the market), lower new listingsand higher percent of new listings being SOLD.   SUMMARY Has the Utah Real Estate Market bottomed? Riverton Real Estate numbers do not look much different from the rest of the county.  An average increase until 2006, then a big drop seems to be the norm.  Price of Riverton Homes stayed pretty solid until 2008 when they took a small slip.
