Local Park City Resident Takes World Cup Title

Bode Miller won the World Cup downhill in Beaver Creek, Utah. Miller owns a home in Park City. After a disappointing showing at the 2006 Winter Games. Miller seems to be back in top form. A steady snow fall made racing conditions treacherous. This is the 22nd Miller World Cup victory and his third in the downhill.Park City is proud to be the training center for the US Ski Team. The Park City Ski Team is a breeding ground for many of the current US team members. Steve Nyman who came in thrid place for the downhill was quoted as saying "I skied slid. I skied well and I'm happy with what I did".
