 As a lifelong lover of animals, cows are high on my list of favorites! It must come from the fact I was born in Owatonna, Minnesota and my family owned a farm. I used to ride Daisy in, the lead cow when it was time to come from the fields. I seldom see the cows and bulls close to the fence and found my opportunity to take some pictures coming from an open house in Ivins, Utah. Soon enough I was playing a game of peek-a-boo with this white cow. It got me laughing (it obviously doesn't take much to entertain me!) and I can just imagine what the rest of them were thinking! ...Mooooove a-way cud I sed so! 03/12/2010

In a previous post, http://activerain.com/blogsview/1505801/speechless-sunday-almost-off-to-the-races-, I had a photo of some bronze horses racing in the desert, a most spectacular sight as you approach this round-a-bout in Ivins, Utah. This entire scene was created by sculptor (and Ivins City resident), Edward Hlavka. This artist's abilities far outreach any boundaries regarding imagination. He was also responsible for designing and building the realistic sandstone jutting cliff that is at the center of the scene. This scene is to be enjoyed face-to-face because my photos cannot do it justice. The detail in the rocks, sandstone bluff & cliff, the indian on horseback and the mustangs are amazinging realistic! Last week I received a gift certificate for a Golf Lesson from the Golf Pro at Entrada Golf Club, a private golf course surrounded by luxury custom homes located in sunny Southern Utah. Hmmmm...I wonder what he will teach me opposed to what I may learn. At this point there are two things that come to mind. This will increase my ability to swear at any given time on the course Also, this will teach me how to properly wrap a club around a tree I golf for fun and yes, I am a hacker. I figure if I was a golf professional and was getting paid to perform, that would make things different.
