Why I Love What I Do! I have been a Real Estate Broker since 2006. In May of 2005 I sold a house & bought a house. The process intriqued me, so I took my equity money and went to a Real Estate School obtaining my license within 6 weeks. I went to a local REMAX office & asked for them to sponsor my license. I sold 12 houses my first 5 months and never looked back. This is me getting my first Real Estate Commission! Alot has changed in the past 20 years in Real Estate. Here’s my potato salad recipe for a crowd.This is a real simple potato salad, we don't care for potato salads with unecessary ingredients here in the south! And PLEASE do not show up at our party with store bought potato salad...Big NO NO!  I made this for my grandsons second birthday party. It was my mom’s recipe! She said the SECRET TO YUMMY POTATO SALAD is putting it together while ALL ingredients are HOT !! Happy Valentines Day ! We really don't celebrate Valentines at my house. My husband says it a "fabricated holiday" I am okay with that as he spoils me all year long! I was curious to see why we celebrate Valentine's anyway, so I googled it. Seems the day is observed in honor of Saint Valentine of Terni.  He was a priest who was supposedly known for secretly performing marriages for Christians & preaching Christianity before it was legal. What is a 2-1 Buydown for your mortgage interest rate?Since the mortgage interest rates have gone up recently there has become a trend in the lending industry to help buyers buy down their mortgage interest rate. Per my lender friend Daniel Anderson at Integrity Mortgage sellers can offer a credit to pay $10K to a buyer, helping a buyer obtain a mortgage interest rate reduction. For example, from 7.25% to 5.25%. This results in a monthly savings of up to approximately $520.00 a month on a buyers mortgage! This makes sense to me as lowering the rate would save more money than lowering the sales price.
