I thought you might like a little history about Labor Day and how it came about. The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union.   When can a borrower get  home loan again after a Distress Sale? A lot of people ask me this question. "Option Pending" in Texas is the unrestricted right to terminate the contract for any reason ! This is the time period the buyer has a home inspection and negotiates any repairs. So far this year, overall home sales were at 390 homes sold, a 9% change from this time last year. It caught my interest because we recently ran into a situation where we allowed a tenant to have a pet she said was a mix,  well it was a pit mix! It has been causing fear among the other tenants in the area and is not being locked up properly !  Question: A prospective tenant wants to lease a property that I manage, but he owns a pit bull. May I refuse to lease to the tenant, who is otherwise qualified? If I do lease the property to him, what type of precautions should I take?
