October 2009 Dear Fellow Equine Enthusiasts, Have you heard?  The Texas Department of Agriculture has mailed out letters to members of the Texas equine industry that outline the incentive programs created by the recently passed HB 1881 (81st Regular Legislative Session).  This new legislation provides incentives for horse owners to breed and show their horses in the Lone Star state.  Participation is limited to qualifying Appaloosa, Quarter and Paint horses.
