For over 16 years now I have helped people sell their homes. I love real estate. I have bought and sold 21 of my own properties over the years. In 2006 we moved to the Round Rock/Austin Texas area. We love it here and we love helping people buy and sell real estate here. So proud to call this great community my home.  So what are some of the keys to selling your home... 1. GET ALL THE INFORMATION: Not every market is a good market to sell into. You will want to connect with your local Realtor to get information on the current local market. Let them help you know when the market window is ripe for selling your property. 2. TRY TO EMOTIONALLY DISCONNECT: It is difficult to not allow your emotions to drive your decision making on setting the price, making repairs or marketing strategies. ...

This past Tuesday it was such a joy to be able to give a check for 3200.00 to a very worth organization. The Texas Baptist Children's Home has been serving the greater North Austin area for over 65 years. They help families in crises, children who are abandon and single moms in need of a helping hand.   The men and women who serve here are truly inspirational. Some of them were helped by the program and are now looking to give back. Others are answering a call of God on their lives to help people in need. Congratulations TBCH and may God bless you with many more years of effectiveness for His Kingdom.

Homes are very personal to us. So many memories are made in them. We put special touches in them that reflect who we are...it may be a paint color, special flooring, shelves, ceiling fans etc. Homes are where our children learned to walk, to talk, where the family came together for the holidays. Each room holds a memory. All of this can make it difficult for us to put a realistic value on our home when we need to sell it. What is a house of memories worth. HERE IS A THE THOUGHT:When selling your home you need to lean into the expertise of a professional Realtor. A Realtor has access to the information that will help you see what the compartive value of your home is in the current marketplace.  Can you pack your memories? Yes, in a manner of speaking. Take some photos and build a memory...

Does God still talk?  As we read through the Bible we see example after example of God talking with mankind. Does the end of the Bible represent the end of God's Voice to mankind? Biblical Scholars assure us that the Bible is complete in its doctrinal message to mankind. But what about day to day decisions we make, is God interested in speaking into our lives instructional, directionally and just lovingly? Jesus said "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." (Jn. 10:27) It was by speaking that God made the universe, it was by speaking that God called man to Himself. It was by speaking that God introduced Himself to Moses in the desert. His voice still speaks to those who will listen.  The key to hearing from God is belonging to HIm. "My Sheep listen to my voice"....
