Miss Sally Edwards is a highly esteemed third grade teacher at JacksboroElementary, TX. In an effort to prepare her students for the all-importantTAKS test, she compiled an exam consisting of 20 questions, which sheadministered to her class last Tuesday.   The exam purposely covered a broad array of topics.  I call your attention to question 11, which simply read:LIST, IN ANY ORDER, THE FOUR SEASONS:   1. ________  2. ________ 3.________  4. ________Now, could you possibly imagine that 67% of the students gave the followinganswer?    ********  SCROLL DOWN *******         1. Mineral Wells, Texas is a small town rich with history.  Founded in 1877 by Judge and Mrs. J. A. Lynch, we became known for our mineral waters.  During the early 1900's until the mid 1950's Mineral Wells was a premier spa resort town much like Hot Springs, Arkansas.  The story is that we earned the nickname "Crazy Water" in 1888 because a deranged woman's illness was cured by drinking the mineral water.  Another story is that druggist Ed Dismuke beat a death diagnosis by drinking and bathing in the water every day.  It was said that the doctor gave him this prognosis at the age of 40, but he ended up living until he was 97.  Once he realized the benefits of the mineral water, Mr. Dismuke opened the Famous Mineral Water Company in 1904.  Here he sold water by the glass to the public.  Th...
