July 4th 2022 is marked down as one for the books. This year lots of our family was scattered with variety of activities so I went with son and family, which includes Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett, to a nearby resort we had never been to called: Horseshoe Bay Resort!          So many activities to choose from: movies on the lawn, concerts on the Tower lawn, white water putting hut, water front beach with an aqua Park, Yacht Club Pool passes, snow cones, popcorn, tattoos and face painting, firesides s’mores, fishing, reading by the pool, playing UNO at as we waited for dinner, July 4th parade, dog parade, hot dogs, fireworks display….I can’t think of anything we experienced not enjoyed!“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out...

In my market of Austin TX and Lakeway TX, I am also seeing a big drop in foreign purchasasof single home properties. The Austin MLS was off 33% month over month this month of single home residances. Our pricing is on the riase only because we do not have the inventory to support the the demand.And thien if you look at the sales and pendings, you can really see how the market is retracting in Austin TX and the Lakeway area. Yesterday was the last day of Summer so we visited the Lakeway Pool for the last time this year. They don't stay open until Labor Day like some other areas. Yesterday was the last day for the kiddos. Alyssa waited all Summer to be tall enough for the big blue slide. She finally made it and went down many times. I actually went down it a couple of times myself, and it was fun! Landon has been doing great with his swimming and loves the water. They have a slide that is just the right size for him, the Frog. Alyssa starts the swim team next week, and she's very excited! Because she needed more things to do besides the gymnastics team!!
