Have you tried going to the post office to submit your paperwork for a passport?  I recently had a great experience getting our passport for our daughter for an upcoming Carribbean cruise.  We needed a passport photo so we went to the local Walgreens at the corner of W. Lake Houston and Fm 1960 E.  There was no wait for the photo with exception of the processing that only took 10 minutes.  From the Walgreens we headed over to the Huffman TX post office located 1 mile north from the intersection of FM 1960 and 2100.  We only waited five minutes for the three people in line in front of us to take care of their business, we were greeted nicely and paperwork quickly processed, and 10 minutes later walked out of the post office with the passport application submitted.  This was much quicker ... 12/26/2007
