The September 2006 Starwood Yard of the Month belongs to Candy and Jack Mahaffey. For a little over five years the Mahaffey family has resided in Chamberlyne Place Village. Candy enjoys working in the flower beds and with their landscaper to achieve such beautiful results. Candy loves Starwood's location and her neighbors. She says "I think a beautiful lawn is very important; it allows one house to stand apart from others. Also, I wouldn't want my neighbors to have to look at an ugly yard. My favorite thing about our lawn is the variety of plants and colors; our landscape team did a wonderful job of putting in native plants and plants that are heat and drought tolerant".
