Another Valentine's weekend in Fort Worth spent with family and friends. Friday began with school parties for my grandchildren except the oldest. No parties in Jr. High.  I enjoy attending and assisting at the parties.  POPPIES Poppies were blooming in Fort Worth yesterday straight out of the ground! I wasn't the only one to gather around their opening day! They were such a beautiful sight! I hope you enjoy them too!  May these poppies uplift your spirits today and give you something to smile about too. When you think about it, these short lived perrenial plants are very resilient. When they are ready to show up - they show up! Timing is everything.  I look at the Poppies and I see beauty! Perfection! Purity! Resurrection! Joy! High hopes!!!
