On August 11 - 14, 2008 the Flower Mound Fire Department will hold a Youth Fire Academy for students that enter the 7th or 8th grade this fall.  It runs from 1 to 5 PM at the Central Fire Station located at 3838 Forums Dr.  It's a free program designed to introduce them to the world of fire protection and emergency medical services.  The class is limited so if you're interested or know someone who might want to join in, get registered by July 7th.  If you have any questions contact Ken MacInnes at 972-874-6265.   06/20/2008

Southeast Denton County has continued to see single family home sales falling below previous year levels. However, home prices are back on the rise. On average, the sales price of homes sold during November were 1.7 percent higher than a year ago, breaking a two month run of decreasing average home prices.
