Every year, Texas A&M students give back to the community through what they call the "Big Event".  The "big event" is made up of several different projects, both large and small, that members of the Bryan-College Station community request from the students.  The 2015 Bryan-College Station Big Event takes place on March 28th.  If you have a project that you would like the students to help you with, the deadline to register your request is tomorrow, February 20th. The women of Delta Zeta are holding their 16th annual Run to the Chicken in College Station on Saturday, September 29, 2012.  This 3K/5K fun run will begin at 9am on the back porch of Dixie Chicken (307 University Dr).  This annual event raises money for Isaiah's Place as well as the Delta Zeta Foundation. Texas A&M University is proud to host the 2nd Annual TriAggieland Kids Triathlon on Sunday, June 24, 2012.  This event is open to all child athletes from the ages of 6-15.  Proceeds from the day's events will benefit the Children's Museum of Brazos Valley. The TriAggieland Kids Triathlon will take place at the Texas A&M Rec Center in College Station.  Beginning at 6am, child athletes will gather at the college's rec center to begin preparing for the triathlon, including an orientation and safety meeting.  Participants will be grouped according to age, with 6 to 8-year-olds in the Junior Division, 9 to 11-year-olds in the Intermediate Division and 12 to 15-year-olds in the Senior Division.  The first leg of the triathlon will be swimming six lengths of the pool for Seniors, four lengths ...
