This year was the 10th Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange hosted by my friend Carol.  She began this tradition ten years ago when she moved to Walden on Lake Houston.  And every year this event is something that everyone looks forward to.  There are specific rules.  EXCEPT this year, Carol allowed bar cookies to be brought.  And she changed the number of cookies to 4 dozen (instead of the usual 6 dozen).  There were 13 of us that exchanged our baked goods.   We had a beautiful display. Groundbreaking is set to begin in January 2010 for the Atascocita Satellite Campus of Lone Star College in Lakeshore.  The campus will be located between Lakeshore Elementary and the Lakeshore subdivision, on W. Lake Houston Parkway.  The map below shows the current campus locations for Lone Star College.  And with the addition of the Atascocita Satellite Campus, we will have the opportunity for higher education right in Atascocita! For this month's Walden on Lake Houston Market Report, we decided to change it up a bit and give you a comparison of Sales Price Ranges for the last three years.  It is always interesting to see not only how many homes are selling but what price range seems to have the most activity.  The criteria used for this Walden on Lake Houston Market Report came from HAR (Houston Association of Realtors).  And the price range breakdown used was in $50,000 increments.  And here are a few more pieces of information to ponder, along with the chart.
