Last week, I blogged about the New Years Day art walk in Addison, around the Addison Circle area. The art installations I covered in that post were part of the carefully planned route that our docent suggested we see. However, there were a few additional stops not on the original plan that we passed.  A week or so ago,  The Blue Angels did a flyover cross the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but we couldn't see them in Addison. The Town of Addison and Cavanaugh Flight Museum, located in Addison, have teamed up for an Addison Salute to Heroes flyover to recognize first responders, veterans, and essential workers. Look upwards in Addison on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 11:00 am. Some of the historic war planes from the Cavanaugh Museum's collection flying over will include a B-25, P-40, T-6, T-28, a T-37 owned by the Service Air Corps, and a privately owned Beechcraft Starship. We are not required to be quarantined in our homes in Addison, Texas at this time, but many of us are sheltering in place, nonetheless.
