Saturday afternoon, I made sure to be there for my granddaughter Beckett’s softball game, and what a game it was! They were up against a fierce, high-energy team they were determined to beat. The sky was a brilliant blue, a soft breeze kept things comfortable, and though the temperature hit 90 degrees, it truly didn’t feel like it.The game started off with the other team pulling ahead, but Beckett’s team wasn’t backing down. They rallied hard, inning by inning, until the score was tied. Then, in a nail-biting final inning, Beckett’s team brought one more runner home on the very last play; securing a 12–11 victory!Talk about edge-of-your-seat excitement! I’m so glad I was there to cheer Beckett on. I even caught her hit to first base on video; she’s growing more confident and competitive... 04/15/2025

The Texas Bluebonnets were late this year in Flower Mound, but WOW my eyes had a lot to feast on today! Since moving to Texas in 1997, these are the most beautiful Bluebonnets I've seen yet! Green Acres was filled in abundance with acres of Bluebonnets. I never saw anything like this before. Now, I understand what it means when someone says, better late than never! All of the Bluebonnets were taken on April 12, 2025, at Green Acres Farm in Flower Mound. Some were blue and others were more purple. And of course, the sunlight has a lot to do with how colors are seen too.
