8/15/2014 An update on Canyon Lake Little League from Rich Hegre......As we get through a tough first game our team learned a difficult and valuable lesson. You have to stay focused and be mentally ready to perform in this environment. The boys took the loss as great competitors do. They were upset and disappointed in their effort, but they are anxious to get to the practice field today to learn from last night and be better prepared for tomorrow. They all are very proud young competitors and have great hearts. They are very aware of the amazing support you all have given them, and are determined to play their best. 08/18/2014

Rapid City, South Dakota & Surrounding Areas   The average price of a single family home sold in the Rapid City and surrounding area is $208,895 which is down from $228,124, with an average of 53 days on the market, down from 59 days this time last year. Sellers have been receiving 98.13% of current listing price which is up from 97.53% in May 2013. During the month of May 2014 there were 144 new residential listings in Rapid City. The total number of homes for sale was 334 as compared to 296 last month. 82 homes have sold compared to 78 in April.   Black Hawk, South Dakota   During the month of May 2014 there were 32 new residential listings in and around the Black Hawk area.
