Cleaning the Soot off Fireplace Brick/Stone To remove grease, dirt, and soot build up from the bricks or stones in or around your fireplace, you can use this simple homemade solution: Make a mixture of 1 cup laundry detergent flakes and 4 cups hot water, then add a half pound of powdered pumice (available at hardware stores like Home Depot). I'm just amazed at how much money people are planting these bulbs every spring only to yield little fruit from their investment.Okay!  I have a sense of humor about these things and choose to live side by side with the red and white signs popping up.  My blue and white signs talk the talk and walk the walk of service!!!If FSBO's only knew that EVERY agent on the MLS works for THEM when they list, they wouldn't waste their time trying to act like 2000 professionals who already have the buyers for the most part.  If they only realized, that we buy advertising in bulk, print in bulk,and have power in our numbers to get the deals, then they must know something I don't.I encourage anyone who stays home, has sold a home at least 10 times in their life time, know the laws to keep them out of t...
