We are so proud of this seller who was willing to act on the advice of our stager’s consultation. The sellers worked really hard to declutter but when we went back to revisit the home, we felt the home was still not ready. After our stager, Melissa Marro, presented a written staging consultation, the sellers had a check list to follow on necessary changes to make and they followed through with flying colors. Here are some before and after photos.  The master bedroom is beautifully decorated but a mauve coat of paint could be a turn off for male buyers. A simple change of paint really shows off this room.                                     The hood over the fireplace was a terra cotta color which went along with the seller’s southwest theme, but it’s hard to take one’s eyes off that hoo...

I was looking back over the past twelve months attempting to analyze what one marketing idea that I used that gave me the best results, (so that I could focus more on it...and less on other non-productive ones)   So, I wanted to survey my brother and sisters on ActiveRain and see what has worked best for them in 2009. "What did you do in 2009 that gave you the biggest bang for your buck?" P.S. By the way, I'll share my biggest "Ah-Ha" moment in 2009....when I bit-the-bullet and re-started by newsletter campaign to everyone that I met or came in contact with; it was by far my most profitable marketing that I did in 2009. Thanks to Jim Palmer for reminding me!

A grand slam took place on November 2nd and it wasn’t in Yankee Stadium during a World Series game but in Charleston, SC when Boeing announced that they had chosen its North Charleston, S.C., facility over Everette, WA as the location for a second final assembly site for the 787 Dreamliner program. The economic impact the new Boeing Plant will have on the Charleston tri-county area and South Carolina as a whole is enormous. The Boeing announcement is going to result in a paradigm shift for the Charleston economy. Not only are we talking about thousands of much needed jobs but there will be a trickle down economic effect that will help local businesses in every sector especially real estate. To learn more about how this deal came together you can visit the Post and Courier’s spec...

LucidLiving Oh yeah the time has come to open up a whole new box of worms.  AyAyAy!  Can you get ready for this?  This is the second blog of the lucidity series, and I just wanted to touch on a couple of topics that I missed in the first blog.  Well, I cant think of them just this second so let us dive into the concept of living a lucid lifestyle. Lucid in this sense is saying that you are completely aware or filled with awareness.  It is my thought that we can control this lucidity as we can control it in our dreams in our every day life.  Do you grasp that?  From my previous blog in the series, you should know that and be practicing lucid dreaming.  If you are not completely there just yet, please do not worry just continue practicing this art and it will grow.  Lucidity is not an ove...

Religion!?! Okay, here is a sticky topic.  I may lose some readers over this topic and hope that you can keep an open mind.  First of all, let me tell you that I believe in some type of higher power.  Personally, I say in tuned with the Universe and the Universe is God.  In this blog, the name God and Universe are interchangeable.  I will never claim that I am going to heaven over a man who changes the name of God, whether it be to Universe, Buddha, Allah, or any other name.  To me it is the understanding and belief in a higher power that matters.  I apologize to you if that offends you but please try to realize that this is where my mind is at this time as I will appreciate where your mind is at this time and our levels of understanding our different.  You will never be mad, if you can...

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, here is a blog topic that I have wanted to go into detail on for quite some time.  Did I write before about the topic of lucid dreaming?  Well, this blog is about the potential of lucid living and is the idea that I have and is why I am going to be a wealthy man.  Why wealthy?  Because this is the topic that you are going to be willing to pay a lot of money for.  This is what Tony Robbins and Rhonda Byrne are both missing.  I dont mean any disrespect as those are two of the people that I idolize.  This is just my theory and what I believe I will be willing to spend my life researching and developing. Lucid dreaming is coming awake in your dream.  Being that you are dreaming you really can do anything.  The movie "The Matrix" would be the best comparison to ...

In balancing life, I just wanted to talk a bit about how I have been balancing my life.  I work, man I have made over $40k in a month on multiple occasions.  Until recently, I managed to consistently make between $10k and $15k per month.  I would work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It was all for the business.  Well, due to the birth of my new baby I have realized that I couldnt care less.  The more money I would make, the more I would spend and I have just as much in savings as I would if I worked the bare minimum that I am able to. I used to work to build my business, BSO, I wanted to build a legacy and wanted it now.  I am a guy that built a million dollar plus portfolio out of pennies and thought I was completely in the right.  It was completely near sighted, patience is a virtue a...

Boeing Comes to N Charleston SC is such an exciting topic for everyone around Charleston, SC tri-county area.  Everywhere you go, people are talking about it.   The people of Charleston SC, N. Charleston SC and all the towns surrounding welcome the Boeing folks with open arms. We do understand that the Boeing folks in Washington are not really pleased about this decision -- we would like for the folks out in Seattle, WA and Tacoma, WA to know that things in SC are not quite as bad as has been reported by some in your area.  Here are a few things being said: 1) "A lot of restaurants in Charleston serve food on Styrofoam plates." 2) "People in Washington don't come as cheap as people in SC." 3) "The parts made in SC are often defective, requiring folks in Washington to fix them." Our ans...

Here is another great post by me or at least I hope it will be.  If not a great post, it is definitely a great topic and hopefully one that you will comment on. I read a book the other day "The Law of Spirit" by Dan Millman, and this book is great.  It was the first time I had ever read a book cover to cover in one sitting.  It may be a very small book but still a great read.  It is what they call an adventure parable in which a story tells much about life.  I personally have been learning so much about myself over the past couple of years and now that I have a beautiful baby girl, everything that I thought was correct, of course was not. So in this book, a man meets a sage in the woods and they go on a mystical journey.  My half Indian wife ( feather no dot) would call this some type o...

You know I have ran the road of success for quite some time now and have had a great level of it.  Through manifestation and plenty of hard work and perserverance we are doing great and only see levels of accomplishment and success to increase. I watched the movie Funny People with Adam Sandler and Ill tell you, you should watch it - hilarious, but it made me think about what I am working toward.  Let me tell you; I have my own island, nothing outrageous just a few houses of family some land and a lot of beach.  A very big home, big enough to get lost in and enough funds to give any and everything away.  Real happiness in traveling the world and spending time with great minds.  I am talking about people on the same level as some of these superstars in the media, when I think of the type...

Well, Thank you real estate entrepreneurs.  I realize that it has been a while since I have wrote but life has just been hectic.  In the past month, Uncle John has finished his property management course, AWESOME!  He finished second in his class.  WOW!  So we are getting ready to take on the property management with full force and it looks like we are going to take on about 10 more units just to kick it all off! Good for Uncle John and the Company! I am out here flying for the reserves right now, not because we need to but the extra money is going to give us almost a years reserve by the end of the quarter.  2009 has been a great year for us! The baby is three months old and moving scooting around the floor and has figured out that she has a voice.  That is a blessing and a curse somet...

Well, Charleston Real Estate Entrepreneurs, if you dont believe, you are stupid!  I dont know how it works, I just know that it is cool and you can really have anything you want by believing in it. I cant tell you how many times over the past couple of years that something has happened out of the blue to save my tail.  I know this has happened to you.  Have you ever believed in something so much, like your small business, and right at the brink of destruction, you get an unexpected check in the mail?  How about you get a big sale, just big enough to keep those lights on or to buy that new product. Believe it or not, that was the tip of manifestation.  I got $11+k in checks last month completely unexpected because I wanted it.  The military owed me like $4k and my mortgage company overch...

Well, Real Estate Entrepreneurs, there are a couple of things I would like to talk about today.  First, I would like to talk about my wife's scary dream the other day.  It is surprising how accurate interpretations can be.  Then a bit about the universe. She continuosly dreamt of the number seven.  Everything that happened was seven times, seven of the same words, seven of the same actions, etc.  Here is the scary part, there were no other people in the dream but she died in her dream seven times.  Scary huh, what do you think that could mean.  Well, we consulted one of our favorite people, who is also a dream consultant www.CharlestonHypnotherapy.com as well as did our own interpretation through dream moods a google searched dream dictionary. We did not know how to feel so I started by...

For more information on swine flu H1N1 see below Well, Real Estate Entrepreneurs, what do you think this blog is going to be about. It is about how I feel today and how I feel about life. I have been writing a book for years about real estate investment and entrepreneurship and today I realize that there are no shortcuts. I was offered a position as BIC for a franchise and it just wasnt something that I was interested in. Why, because it wasnt for me, I am an entrepreneur not an employee. Same "E" different life. I believe wholeheartedly in manifestation and we are manifesting a great life ahead. I believe that entrepreneurship is like breathing. Not like unconscious breathing but like conscious sport breathing. We all know how to breathe, well we hope so. When you are able to breathe c...

Hello Real Estate Entrepreneurs!!!!! Today, I just wanted to talk a bit about how active my wife and I have been. She has just started at the gym and I am in my third month of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Being active like this is a huge part of your life. If you are not out being active these days, you're wrong. It is just as everyone says, you have more energy and to tell you the truth, I am most excited to keep working out. Here is a you tube video of my instructor. ( the guy is super nice, I didnt realize how much of a badass he is) I cant believe I am learning how to do this stuff! Ha, Maybe in 10-15 years! Anyways, you need to be out and moving. Sitting on a computer does nothing but hurt you and we are becoming more and more successful everyday. Audrey is doing pilates, working out, kick...
