One reason is that the state has a strong religious history. Many people in South Carolina believe that it is wrong to sell alcohol on Sundays, as it is a day of rest and worship. Another reason for the ban is that the state government worries that allowi...

Hard Rock Park 10 years Later - well this week marks the 10 year anniversary of the opening of the Hard Rock Theme Park in Myrtle Beach SC. The Hard Rock Park was going to be a music based theme park in Myrtle Beach that was promoted as the next Disneyland or Universal Studios for Myrtle Beach and all I can say is, "what a long strange trip it's been". The Hard Rock Theme Park was going to have rides like the ever popular Led Zeppelin roller coaster. Local Myrtle Beach Real Estate Agents were telling tales of Myrtle Beach Real Estate prices doubling because of the added volume of visitors and business.  Well even if we could take a ride in the imaginary time machine and explained to everyone how timing in life is everything it still would not have saved the Hard Rock Theme Park.Myrtle B...

The Hard Rock Theme park located in Myrtle Beach, SC has been placed in AOL's top 10 list of theme parks across the US to visit this year.  The article states this is the first theme park carrying the Hard Rock Brand Name and is also one of the first amusement parks of it's size to open in the US in over a decade. With all of the National publicity Hard Rock is receiving, it should make its Grand Opening in June a huge success.  For more information about Hard Rock Theme Park, or Myrtle Beach Real Estate, call Jeremy Blanton or Dennis Blanton REALTORS® with Coldwell Banker Chicora Real Estate at (843) 222-9402. Went by the site of the future Hard Rock Theme park. Lots of bulldozers lots of guys in Hard Hats and the cranes are moving stuff around. Took some pictures of what will be the "crown Jewel', The Led Zeppelin Roller Coaster. Check it out. Lots of parts in the foreground for other coasters yet to be erected.Looks like a wild ride. but, The next picture really shows what a wild, exciting ride it really will be. This coaster is directly in the approach path for Myrtle Beach International Airport.Ok...you got me... I photo shopped the plane into the picture. But...really.. while I was there, 3 planes flew overhead on approach to the airport.
