Today King Kong was caught climbing the Empire State building at the new Hollywood Wax Museum in Myrtle Beach SC. Temperature were in the low 90's today with a nice Ocean breeze. Celtic-themed pub to debut in Myrtle Beach A Celtic-themed pub deemed too risque for an Illinois town opened at Broadway at the Beach, raising the eyebrows of some store managers at the complex but giving others optimism that the new venue will help boost business. Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, a Tempe-Ariz.-based chain known for its "kilt girls" is opening its first S.C. location on the 21st Avenue North side of Broadway at the Beach. It's amazing how you take for granted places that you work around or drive by every day. Broadway at the Beach is one of those places that falls into that category for me.Broadway at the Beach was built by the Burroughs and Chapin Co. about 10 years ago, and it has been popular with our tourists ever since. It is a "must go to" place. The first time I ever went there, it reminded me of Disney's flavor with all the shops and restaurants surrounding the central lake.Here are some images from BATB.The palace theater has some of the finest entertainment in Myrtle Beach.
