Latest news on the Fort Mill, SC real estate market in March 2023...What you need to know...What it means for you...   Fort Mill real estate in March 2023 (29715 and 29708 zip codes) saw a dramatic increase in month-over-month sales and a slight decline year-over-year. Closed sales were also at their highest since June 2022. Although new listings increased over February 2023, they were down year-over-year. Days on market in March were down compared with the prior month, but up over March 2022. At the same time, home prices increased month-over-month, but decreased year-over-year. Baxter Village Neighborhood in Fort Mill, SC Real Estate Report & Neighborhood Spotlight: Quarter 1 - 2023 Baxter Village Single Family HomesHome prices in Baxter Village softened in the Fourth Quarter 2022 and continued that trend into the First Quarter 2023 with the average home price declining 20% and the median home sale price declining 12%. The list to sale price ratio declined 3% but was still a respectable 99.05%. New listings were down both year-over-year and month-over-month. Inventory increased from February 2022, but decreased from January 2023. Baxter Village Neighborhood in Fort Mill, SC Real Estate Report & Neighborhood Spotlight Baxter Village Single Family Homes2022 was a good year for single family home sales in Baxter Village. Home prices increased 25% and the list to sale price ratio was 101.2%. Although average days on market increased slightly, they were still very low at just 10 days. And as we entered, 2023, median home sale prices continued to set new records. Fewer homes sold in 2022 than in 2021 putting pressure on home prices. Home prices "held their own" in the Fourth Quarter 2022 despite a small softening in the market. Latest news on the Fort Mill, SC real estate market in December 2022...What you need to know...What it means for you...   Fort Mill real estate in December 2022 (29715 and 29708 zip codes) saw a definite softening with lower closed and pending sales, lower list to sale price ratio, higher days on market, less foot traffic through through active listings.  By the same token, home sale prices were up year-over-year, new listings were down (for a seventh consecutive month), months supply of inventory was down month-over-month and still low at 1.3 months.
