Two years ago today we headed out on our five week cross country road trip. It had been put off a few years prior because we got very busy in real estate and then the following year Covid shut everything down. We were happy to finally get on the road when we did and we have many fond memories of family we visited, friends we reconnected with and the many wonderful landscapes that unfolded in front of us as we traveled this vast country. So much to see, and so much we did not see….five weeks was not enough time!!As I went through the first group of photos I took on the road, I focused in on this leaning tower photo. One of the great things about living in Delaware County PA is how close it is to the New Jersey shore, or as locals say, the Jersey shore.  No it is not called the beach like other parts of the country may say, it is the Jersey shore. According to Google Maps, from Springfield, the town where our office is located, to Cape May, New Jersey, the southern most town in New Jersey, the distance can be 109 miles (roughly 2 hours 12 minutes) or 91.6 miles (roughly 2 hours 15 minutes).  These 2 routes are the main routes people will take from Springfield. There are 2 bridges that most locals use to get over the Delaware River into NJ, the Walt Whitman and the Commodore Barry Bridge. We all receive unsolicited phone calls from out of state at least once a day if not more.   Sometimes I answer these calls in order to stop them or to see if it is actually a potential lead coming in.  But since most are recorded, robo calls, I tend to let them go to voice mail. Lately I have been receiving calls from New York telling me I have major legal problems. I just listened to the last recorded message from New York state and the woman said I have "4 outstanding warrants for may arrest and the local cops are going to chase me down". She goes on to say, to avoid this action I need to contact them immediately. Gosh I wonder what I did??? Have you been warned of your local police chasing you down?
