(This post was inspired by the July AR Challenge "How Have You Changed", hosted by Patricia Feager and Lew Corcoran.  Thank you both.) I never considered going into real estate until Doug shared his idea of joining forces and becoming Realtors together. We researched the idea, I was open to change and open to the idea of working with him. Doug had many years experience being self employed. For me, the idea of being self employed was enticing and yet scary. Scary because this was the first time I ever had to have insurance in order to work. Insurance in case we made a mistake and got sued.Most of our training in our first office was about doing everything correctly so we would not get sued.
